Inpatient Adolescent Care

Peer support and group therapies are the cornerstone of our adolescent program. Recognizing that emotions and experiences are shared by many and developing a toolkit of positive coping strategies are fundamental steps to growth.

Inpatient-adolescent-care-02

TaraVista's Adolescent Inpatient Program is a specialized treatment program tailored to address the needs of school-aged youth between the ages of 13 and 18.

Our program provides treatment for a variety of behavioral diagnoses, including depression, self-harming behaviors, severe anxiety, anger management issues, trauma (PTSD) and suicidal thoughts.  During each adolescent’s stay, we focus on crisis stabilization and putting into place a care management plan that enables the adolescent to return home or transition to less intensive services.

Adolescents often require inpatient care when they are facing significant social and emotional stressors or psychiatric issues. Our TaraVista adolescent treatment team has assisted thousands of young people in achieving healthier, more positive means of managing difficult feelings, behaviors and situations.
